Current state licensure

Position: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Location: 2522 E. 70th Street, Shreveport, LA 71105
Job Type: Part-Time
Key Responsibilities:Assessing and treating speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders, helping kids grow their confidence and communication skills
Creating unique, individualized treatment plans that outline the treatment goals and methods to be used
Collaborate with our team of occupational therapists, ABA therapists, and SLPs to create a holistic approach to patient care
Foster a positive and engaging therapy environment
Qualifications:A passion for working with kids and making a difference
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active Louisiana license (or on your way to getting it! CF’s Welcome!)
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Attention to detail, patience, and empathy
Ability to manage patients with different involvement levels

Qualifications:Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Knowledge of evidence-based practice and current research in the field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
